NWM Norway is part of the Nordic Women Mediators Network and, through this regional membership, part of the Global Alliance of Regional Women Mediator Networks.

Nordic Women Mediators Network
NWM Norway is part of the Nordic Women Mediators Network (NWM), a regional network launched in Oslo in November 2015, comprised of women from the five Nordic countries who have professional expertise relevant to conflict resolution and peacebuilding. NWM is a collaborative forum, building on national women mediators' networks in all five Nordic Countries – Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. NWM’s mission is to enable the inclusion and participation of women in peace and dialogue processes to achieve sustainable peace.

Global Alliance of Regional Women Mediator Networks
The Nordic Women Mediators network is, in turn, a proud member of the Global Alliance of Regional Women Mediators Networks, comprised of the African Union’s FemWise-Africa, the Mediterranean Women Mediators Network and Women Mediators across the Commonwealth. NWM Norway took the initiative of gathering all the networks in Oslo in March 2018, and in September 2019 the Global Alliance was formally launched at UN Headquarters in New York.Webpage: globalwomenmediators.org
